Argentina: Laguna Los Guanacos – Flamingos
200km north of Bahia Blanca lies a series of small lagoons that you drive by but then have to come to a screeching stop – hundreds of pink flamingoes. Flying a drone above then gave fantastic pictures, and flamingos couldn’t care less about the drone. This is Chilean flamingo (Phoenicopterus chilensis), common to the southern part of Argentina and Chile. They all congregate in various small and large salt lagoons and soda lakes.
