Armenia: Lake Kari
We drove higher and higher up Mount Aragats – first snow appeared in patches, then everything became pure snow, and eventually it was 2m / 6ft of snow along the narrowly plowed icy road. Stunning white landscapes everywhere, almost surreal. Eventually the road ended at Lake Kari – elevation 3,185 m (10,449 ft). Ass-freezing cold and windy, but we wanted to pose on the lake’s deep snow. Long story short – I fell through the snow chest-deep into the lake, and Natalie pulled me out.
