Armenia: Temple of Garni

Temple of Garni is a classic Hellenistic temple and the only ancient Greek building in the entire former Soviet Union. The temple was built by king Tiridates I in the 1st century AD. The building completely collapsed during an earthquake in 1679 and was later fully restored in the 20th century.
