Australia: China Wall at Halls Creek
China Wall at Halls Creek in Western Australia – didn’t come up in any guidebooks, but nevertheless was quite impressive. It’s a 6-meter high snow-white quartz rock protruding from the red sandstone, and it goes for miles and miles, somewhat resembling the Great Wall of China. It’s hard to believe this is not mad-made. The rock is very hard and doesn’t erode unlike the weaker rocks around
