Australia: Darwin – Views From the Air
Darwin is the capital city and contains the vast majority of the population of the entire region, which still isn’t much – the city is home to around 140K people. It is the smallest, northernmost, and wettest capital city in Australia. Darwin sit on a peninsula jutting out into the Beagle Gulf and the Timor Sea, flanked by Frances Bay to the east and Cullen Bay to the west. The city is flat and compact and framed by nice beaches.
