Australia: Kakadu NP – Exploring the Park
Kakadu National Park is a massive park in the Australian NT, over 20 thousand square kilometers, making it the country’s largest park and one of the largest in the world. Kakadu is home to diverse ecosystems, including large wetlands that explode in size during the wet season, savanna woodlands, and sandstone escarpments. The park is teaming with wildlife, including saltwater crocodiles, kangaroos and wallabies, and insane variety of birds. Dramatic landscapes are abound here almost on every step and every vista, including the panoramas of distant thunderstorms.
