Australia: Point Nepean National Park

Mornington Peninsula is very scenis with a large national park – Point Nepean National Park – occupying its westernmost part with rugged coastal landscapes and diverse natural habitats. Lots of spectacular cliffs, headlands, beaches, and azure waters are everywhere you look. The park is also home to a range of historic military fortifications dating back to the 19th century, including Fort Nepean, Fort Pearce, and Eagles Nest, which played significant roles in Australia’s defense history, particularly during World War I and World War II.
