Australia: Queensland and NSW/ACT Food Recap
Let’s wrap up Australia with a small food recap. Cairns in Queensland offered fantastic fresh fish – tuna, barramundi, grouper as well as more classic burger and pork stuff in Torres Strait (the latter not exactly the gastronomic capital of Australia, more like a real backwater). The north has a lot of light beers, perfect for hot weather and some chilling. Oh and the crocodile and kangaroo were awesome! It the south, Sydney and Canberra, it was good free-range steaks, ribs, hearty Australia breakfast (beats British or American actually), and more craft beers.
