Australia: Shark Cage Diving
Shark cage diving – DONE! I have seen great whites in the wild! Port Lincoln is the shark diving capital of the world – this is where shark diving was first invented as a research tool to study great whites. It’s a 2.5 hour boat ride in 10 feet waves to get to Neptune Islands offshore where a massive NZ fur seal colony attracts the sharks. Then you spend hours in cold ocean to get a glimpse of them… And this is where Jaws were filmed.
