Austria: Graz – Double Spiral Staircase in Burg

This was soooooo cool and unexpected – an insane double spiral staircase inside a Burg (castle) building in the center of Graz. It felt totally like an optical illusion taken straight from the M.C.Escher “Relativity” painting – and yet it was real! The double spirals go independent of each other and yet they meet on every floor. Sometimes it was difficult to understand where is up or down, and where the people were going to or coming from. My head was spinning! Feel free to repost this – people should know about this place….
