Azerbaijan: Baku Flame Towers

Flame Towers are possibly some of the most unique skyscrapers in the world and the tallest buildings in Baku. They three towers were built between 2007-2012 with the money from Azeri seemingly bottomless oil wealth. The Flame Towers are covered with LED screens that light up at night and simulate moving fire. Beats me why somebody would want to have simulated building on fire, but one cant deny – the view is fantastic as they change color and appearance throughout the day and night.
