Baffin Island: Buchan Bay
And even when we finally got to see some land on Baffin Island – we entered a less spectacular Buchan Bay Fjord – it was so severely overcast that you could only see a quarter of the towering cliffs. Still, zodiacing beneath the theoretically huge vertical walls with glaciers and waterfalls everywhere was awesome. And a very distant spot on a snowy owl!
