Baffin Island: Floe Edge – More Floe Edge Wildlife Watching
Several more days on the Floe edge with beautiful weather – full sunshine and the temps climbing in the calming 5-10C. The offshore winds cleared the brush ice in front of the ice edge and it became clear, you could almost sit on it and hang your legs down into the ocean (risking perhaps a break off). No major wildlife except abundant birds, so it was a good time to drive around the edge and explore some of the super massive icebergs that got blown here from Greenland.
