Bahamas/Abacos: No Name Cay – Swimming Pigs

While the most famous island where you can swim with wild feral pigs is Big Major Cay, there are actually several other even smaller islets where you can see and experience this, often much less commercial and closer interaction with pigs. In the Abacos, it’s on the No Name Cay. Here, there were plenty of adult pigs and even some super small piglets, all frolicking around in the sand at the beach and entering the translucent clear water, swimming and playing. The pigs are non-native and were brought to Bahamas as food source, but went wild on the islands.
