Bahrain: Manama – Manama Souq
Starting right behind the Bab al Arab historic old city gate building lis the sprawling quarter of the famous Manama Souq – endless narrow streets of market and bazaars. A portion of the Souq has been improved with a new covered buildings, a large multistory indoor place with boutique restaurants and expensive souvenir shops. Beyond that – there’s anything and everything; gold stores, lanterns, Bahraini caps and T-shirt’s, dried lemons, spices and fruits, clothes, and so on and so forth.
