Barbados: North Point & Animal Flower Cave
The North Point is naturally the northernmost point in Barbados with spectacular cliffs overlooking the rough seas pummeling the shore with unrelenting force. The North Point juts out into ocean and you can have panoramic views in many directions. This is also the location of the Animal Flower Cave, the only sea cave in Barbados, when you can descend down through a former blowhole and see the ocean framed in the cave’s opening. The cave is only about 6 feet above the water and the sea was very rough with a 8-10ft swell when we arrived, so the cave access was closed.
