Bermuda: Crystal Cave
You would think an island archipelago of only 26 square miles wouldn’t have any caves – but quite the opposite – there are several spectacular underground fairylands here. Crystal Cave is insanely ornate with sparkling white stalactites (in fact these are some of the purest calcite formations in the world). The bottom of the cave is under water, which is actually the sea water from the surrounding Atlantic Ocean. You walk on bridges above the crystal clear water about 40 meters deep and below crystal white sparkling stalactites hanging just feet above your head. One of the most stunning caves I have seen.
