And now for perhaps the most picturesque shots in Bhutan – Paro Valley. A broad valley at the foot of tall mountain peaks with monasteries and dzong fortresses high up along the valley walls, the town of Paro at the bottom near the river, and endless fields and terraces of brightly yellow rice fields.
