Bhutan: Tachogang Lhakhang Temple
Tachogang Lhakhang Temple was built in the very early 15th century by in Thangyong Gyalpo – a legend of a Buddhist priest, architect, bridge builder, poet, and who knows what else. Supposedly, he was meditating on the river bank and had a vision of a temple – long story short – a magnificent structure and suspension bride were built here. It’s a beautiful scenery around indeed – the river twists and turns amount the verdant mountains and blue flowers are everywhere.
