Bonaire: Washington Slagbaai National Park

The Washington Slagbaai National Park is located at the northern side of Bonaire on the land formerly used for plantations and now having wild desert flora full of towering cacti and panoramic ocean views. It is a habitat for many endemic and otherwise rare species of birds and reptiles – flamingos, land iguanas, and so on. Turtles come ashore here as well.
