Botswana: Evolve Back Kalahari Lodge

volve Back Kalahari is a luxury lodge just north of CAGR (it’s formerly known as Haina Kalahari Lodge and was just recently quite by an Indian luxury accommodation group). It’s a stunning lodge with stunning amenities and a stunning location. The bungalows accommodate only 20 guests, and some have beds under open skies (not particularly useful during the rains). Everything is tastefully decorated and the local lodge personnel is extremely welcoming and great. The overseas Indian management and ownership however seems to have very little understanding of how to manage or sell an exclusive African safari lodge – it’s very poorly advertised, hardly known, and communication is difficult.
