Botswana: Flying over Okavango Delta
The Okavango Delta is one of the world’s largest deltas with massive amount of water coming here from Okavango River every year. The most interesting part is that the delta is an inland one – the water doesn’t float into any ocean or see but just evaporates in the natural trough. The scale of this endless landscape of green islands, marches, and water is immense and absolutely spectacular when seen from the air – the only way of getting here.
