Estacao das Docas is one of Belem’s top tourist landmarks – until 2000 this was a run down 19th century industrial area of historic iron warehouse sand steel cranes, full of crime and prostitution. But then it was transformed into premier entertainment and dining waterfront complex along the Guaita Bay.
