Brazil: Rio de Janeiro – Confeitaria Colombo

Confeitaria Colombo is a 100-year old confectionary and coffee place in the centre of old town Rio. Used to be a very exclusive and lavish place only available to few in the old Brazil. Decorated with Belgian mirrors, rosewood windows, Italian marble countertops, massive chandeliers and beautiful furnishings this place screams “Old school”. Only recently did they start allowing people in shorts to come in. Coffee was good too, but I ate way too much sweet stuff!
