Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque is considered the most beautiful mosque in the Southeast Asia. Located in the heart of the capital of Brunei – Bandar Seri Begawan – the mosque is the largest building and easily dominates the skyline. To say the mosque is lavish would be an understatement – there is a lot of gold and marble. The main dome is covered in pure gold. It looks spectacular and all lit up at night, non Muslims cannot enter though.
