Brunei: Temburong Bridge
Temburong Bridge or more officially known as Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Bridge was only built in 2019 and connected the two parts of Brunei – the “mainland” and the exclave of Temburong (it wasn’t around last time I was in Brunei). Before, people had to cross Malaysia to go from one part of Brunei to another. The bridge is 30km long spanning across the Bay of Brunei and it is the longest bridge in Southeast Asia. It’s a 4 lane bridge with two sets of towers on each side, a marvel of engineering and breeze to drive on.
