Bulgaria: Rila National Park – Seven Lakes
Seven Lakes are the highlight of the Rila National Park in the south of Bulgaria. Rila mountains are the sixth tallest range in Europe and reaches almost 10k feet. To get here – you have to drive up for an hour and then take a cable car that goes up a whopping 35 minutes. Once there, you hike 8km going by the lakes one by one. They are all on different altitudes and are interconnected by waterfalls. It’s a total alpine paradise.
