British Virgin Islands: Gorda Peak National Park

The Gorda Peak National Park occupies the central part of the Virgin Gorda island and highest mountain reaching up to 1370 feet. A twisting mountain road (with many spectacular viewpoints) takes you to about 900 feet and then you hike a steep trail through a tropical forest up to the top. Orchids, lianas, cactuses, tropical plants of all shapes and sizes line up the trail. Once at the top, you can climb to the observation tower platform for an unparalleled 360 degree view of the entire British Virgin Islands archipelago!
