Canada/Alberta: Edmonton – Alberta Railway Museum
Alberta Railway Museum in Edmonton is located on the northern outskirts of the city, it showcases Alberta’s railway history through a collection of historic locomotives, railcars, and other railway equipment. The museum houses over 75 historic railway cars and locomotives, many of which you can get inside – steam engines, diesel locomotives, passenger cars, cabooses, and more. The collection features restored Canadian National (CN) and Northern Alberta Railways (NAR) equipment, representing the golden age of rail travel in Alberta. You can even explore the interiors of certain railcars, getting a taste of what it was like to travel on these trains.
