Canada/Alberta: Icefields Parkway

Icefields Parkway is quite possibly the most scenic road in Canada and one of the top in the North America. Stretching for about 232 km (144 mi) between Lake Louise in Banff National Park and Jasper in Jasper National Park, the parkway winds through the heart of the Canadian Rockies and offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks, vast glaciers, and turquoise lakes. Spectacular mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and wildlife are all around along the way. Dozens of glaciers descend down the steep mountain sides.
