Canada/BC: Yoho NP – Driving Along Trans-Canada Highway

Yoho National Park is also part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and lies entirely in British Columbia, and connect to Kootenay and Banff National Parks. Yoho is famous for offering rugged terrain with soaring peaks, deep valleys, and cascading waterfalls. The park is characterized by the Kicking Horse River, which carved out the steep valleys and canyons. The Trans-Canada Highway runs through the park, offering breathtaking views as it winds through the mountains. Highlights include crossing the impressive spiral tunnels—a railway engineering marvel—and passing by some of the park’s most iconic landmarks, like the towering cliffs of Mount Stephen and the picturesque Wapta Falls.
