Canada/Ontario: Algonquin PP – Lookout Trail
The Lookout trail goes though the deciduous woods full of colorful foliage before climbing slowly to a rock ledge rising above the endless forest with some stupendous views of green, red, and yellow. You can actually see several hundred square kilometers of Algonquin in front of you. The hike is a loop with steep sections. The fall colors are super bright – red and sugar maples, white birch, largetooth and trembling aspens, and red oak.
