In Ontario three dishes stood out as truly local and authentic – peameal bacon sandwich, beavertails, and butter tarts. Also the Bloody Caesar cocktail – kind of like a Bloody Mary but with a Clamato juice – was invented here. Ontario also had a lot of fresh produce at the famous markets in Toronto and Ottawa.
