Canada/Saskatchewan: Prince Albert National Park

Prince Albert National Park, located in central Saskatchewan, is just a super vast wilderness area known for its diverse landscapes, including boreal forests, lakes, and grasslands with species like bison, elk, and wolves inhabiting the area. Most famous attractions include Waskesiu Lake (where most tourist congregate), and the scenic Boundary Bog Trail, as we as the Observation Tower. We did the last two and it was a spectacular hiking loop through forest and the bog itself. Lots of unique plant species – from northern orchids to carnivorous sundews and pitcher plants – all in bloom! Plus lots of mushrooms and wildflowers. And berries – billberry (kind of like blueberry but white inside), red currant, cranberry, Saskatoon berry, strawberry, stone berry, raspberry, and more!
