Canada/AB: Jasper NP – Bighorn Rams Along the Ice Parkway
Another endemic animal of the Canadian Rockies – the bighorn sheep – is also hard to spot. While the males are famous for their massive curved horns, they usually live in male-only groups, while females and babies form their own herds. A large group of the latter was lounging on a plateau above the highway with great panoramic views of a glacial valley below.
