Canada/BC: Vancouver Island – Whale-watching in Pacific Rim NP

No trip to Vancouver Island would be complete without going on a whale-watching trip. A major whale migratory route lies along the islands – grey whales migrate between their winter calving grounds in Baja Mexico and summer feeding grounds in Alaska. The route is over 22000km long, making it one of the longest migrations of any mammal on Earth.
