Canada/Quebec: Mingan Archipelago NP – Ile Quarry

Île Quarry is the most spectacular of the Mingan Archipelago islands – it has the most of the limestone monoliths both on the beach and in the water. Many are truly enormous, and several have eroded into peculiar hoodoos and even natural bridges. A boardwalk allows hiking on the barrens and tundra forests on f the island, accessing sea cliffs and traversing peat bogs.
