Canary Islands: On Top of Teide Peak
Mount Teide is the highest mountain in Atlantic Islands and entire Spain at 3718 meter (almost 12K feet). A perfectly shaped cone of a volcano is the centerpiece if the Teide National Park, the number one draw in Canary Islands. This is also the third largest mountain in the world when measures from its base (Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea in Hawaii take the top spots).
