Canary Islands: Jardin de Cactus on Lanzarote

Everything on Lanzarote is touched by the Spanish artist Cesar Manrique. He strived at combining nature and futuristic architecture. One of this, was his collection of over 1500 species of cacti (all identified and labeled) set in terraces resembling roman amphitheater. Needless to say, this garden took a look of my time exploring – like a kid in a candy store!
