Canary Islands: Jameos del Aqua on Lanzarote

Another Manrique’s creation – a lava tube with an underground lake and beautiful skylights turned into a restaurant – half underground half above the cave. He also added a sparkling white pool with black lava rocks and azure water. The underground lake is noteworthy for blind white crabs that live here and nowhere else on earth.
