Central African Republic: Bangui – Savoring Grilled Goat
An absolutely delicious treat was savoring the slowly grilled goat meat in Bangui. The ribs and legs and some organs are slowly roasted on open fire for hours and hours and then chopped roughly and served with peppery peanut sauce and pounded cassava mash. You sit right next to the grill and eat the juicy meat morsels as live goats look at you in trepidation and disgust and fear.
