Chile: Lauca National Park – Viscachas
Viscacha is a rabbit-like animal endemic to the high Andes. While it looks very much like a bunny, it’s actually a rodent, a member of the chinchilla family. They live way above the treeline on grassy pastures, have super warm fur, long tails and perky long ears. They usually live in large colonies of several dozens to hundreds of individuals.
