China: Hohhot – Tongshun & Saishang Old Streets

Tongshun Old Street is a narrow lane in the heart of the old town of Hohhot and it’s packed with street food vendors with various local delicacies – like lamb-filled Hohhot Shaomai dumplings, Mongolian milk teas, skewers of lamb, lamb offal soups, and tons of other stuff, including insects. Saishang runs in parallel to it and is more about souvenirs and handicrafts.
