China: Huangshan Mountains – Birds

s Despite the rain and fog, you can still emit some rate and endemic birds at the too of Huangshan, the birds are quite habituated to humans. We saw three species: Buffy Laughingthrush (Pterorhinus berthemyi) – a true endemic only found around Huangshan high peaks and known for elaborate songs and ability to mimic others, Red-billed Leiothrix (Leiothrix lutea) famous in China as “love birds”, and Grey Bush Chat (Saxicola ferreus) known for their intense tail-flicking.
