Comoros: Maloudja Beach
And the last but perhaps the most spectacular Comoros post – the Maloidja Beach on the north coast. Beaches are spectacular, stunning, and endless in Comoros – an almost surreal combination of black lava rocks, whitest fine sand, azure ocean, and fringing coral reef. But tourism doesn’t exist here and the beaches are empty as strict Islamic sharia laws don’t particularly encourage bikini-clad sunbathing. But back to Maliudja – it’s truly iconic – palms, crescent of sand, coral reef, and incredible ocean!
