Comoros/Moheli: Flying to Moheli Island
Having explored Grand Comore on the last trip, it was now time to go to the smaller sister island – Moheli – with its immense natural treasures – huge jungle national park, worlds largest bats, spectacular reef and small islands, rare birds, endemic lemurs, sea turtles en masse, and much more. The flight is a short 25 min hop, but they are often cancelled and non-operational for weeks. En route, you get a good aerial views of Grand Comore and then Moheli. And on arrival to Moheli, everybody has to undergo a malaria blood test!
