Comoros/Moheli: Moheli Marine Park – Snorkeling

The underwater paradise of the Moheli Marine Park is truly pristine – the coral is abundant and very healthy, with tons of colorful tropical fish. We didn’t see any large fish, but the reef is just teaming with small ones of incredible verity of species, colors, and shapes. We saw several lion fish, lobsters, and well-camouflaged pufferfish For all the sites we’ve seen in the Indian Ocean, this would definitely go into top five best ones. And while snorkeling at the Moheli Marine Park, you are almost guaranteed to swim with green turtles – they are super abundant here. Slow and clumsy on the shore, they are fast and graceful in the clear blue water above the colorful reef.
