Costa Rica: Marino Las Baulas National Park

Marino Las Baulas National Park covers the northern Pacific beaches of Costa Rica. Besides the beautiful grey-sand beaches, it is famous for the giant leatherback turtles that come ashore here. I went on a turtle watching tour (no photography allowed), which starts past midnight and then you get to witness a turtle creating a nest and laying eggs. Its a humbling experience.
