Croatia: Rovinj
Rovinj, a coastal town in the Istrian peninsula is nothing short of spectacular. Like all towns here, it compactly occupy a promontory jutting into the sea. White cobblestone narrow streets laid out in an impossible grid – all leading to a towering bell tower, the tallest in Istria, with just insane views in all direction after you climb a crumbling vertiginous wooden ladder to the top.
