Cuba: Guantanamo Bay Views

There is a viewpoint on high escarpment of the entire panorama of the Guantanamo Bay. You can see where the Cuban territory ends and US naval base begins. You can see structure and military barracks (but no people in orange jumpsuits). Also several ships in the bay, most likely military. The US base occupies 117 sq km. The base was leased from Cuba in 1903 for $2,000 in gold annual payment indefinitely. The Cuban government has been protesting the base’s existence since the Cuban revolution in 1959. Since 2000, USA has been using the base as a detention location for terrorist enemy combatants, but less than 30 remain now.
